CFXWorks

New PaymentCardXpress® Feature “Processor Redirect” Supporting Windows, UNIX, Linux and IBM POWER

A SINGLE PAYMENT INTERFACE THAT PROVIDES FREEDOM OF CHOICE

CFXWorks’ PaymentCardXpress (PCX) payment solution is certified to use Elavon’s Fusebox gateway. Fusebox is a robust, flexible gateway to multiple Point-Of-Sale (POS) and Payment Management Systems (PMS). Fusebox serves as a single interface to securely deliver payments to the merchant’s choice of processing or acquiring providers including Elavon, American Express, Chase Paymentech, First Data, Heartland, Moneris, TSYS, Vantiv, WorldPay and E4.

To use Elavon as your processor with PaymentCardXpress you need to purchase a merchant account from Elavon. To use another processor (for example, First Data, AMEX, Paymentech, TSYS, Moneris, Heartland, Vantiv, Global, Worldpay, or E4) with PaymentCardXpress you will need a merchant account from the other processor, as well as a gateway account from Elavon. For example, if you are currently using Paymentech with another payment solution and want to switch to PaymentCardXpress, continuing to use your exiting merchant account from Paymentech, you will need to purchase a Elavon Fusebox gateway account. Our experience suggests that purchasing these accounts and negotiating the best possible fee structure takes time. Therefore, it is in your best interest to apply for your new accounts and begin negotiating your fee structure early in the process.

BANK NEUTRAL

If the merchant uses one of the above-listed acquirers, using PCX and Fusebox, they can switch to an Out-Of-Scope, PCI compliant payment solution, that supports Point-to-Point-Encryption (P2PE), tokenization, and EMV while continuing to maintain their current banking relationship.

SECURITY & SAFETY DELIVER PEACE OF MIND

Using Fusebox, PCX supports multiple P2PE solutions. P2PE protects cardholder data in transit and replaces card account data at rest with a secure token. Elavon’s secure data center protects cardholder data, mitigates risk and reduces the associated PCI compliance costs.

PLATFORM STABILITY & PERFORMANCE

PCX is typically installed on the merchant’s in-house system. It can also be installed on the merchant’s public or private cloud. Transaction data is also typically stored in an in-house audit database using DB2, MySQL, or SQL Server. No sensitive card data, as defined by PCI DSS, is recorded in this database. The Primary Account Number (PAN) is not visible in the audit database or to PCX. Elavon’s core processing platform, which includes Fusebox, is built on proven, dependable and redundant switch technology delivering maximum uptime and processing performance.

FLEXIBILITY & SIMPLICITY ACROSS YOUR ENTERPRISE

PCX supports multiple integration technologies designed to reduce the cost of deploying your payment solution and integrating it with your front and back-office systems. PCX supports file, data queue, database, iFrame, and web services integration technologies.

VISIBILITY INTO DETAILED TRANSACTION DATA

PCX provides an integrated report generation capability. However, because the detailed transaction database is stored in the PCX audit database, most merchants write their own custom reports.

EMV CERTIFIED

In conjunction with Simplify™, Fusebox provides an EMV certified solution, saving the merchant the costs associated with EMV certification and protecting the merchant from card data fraud liability resulting from counterfeit, lost or stolen cards.
